i decided to go with a photographic approach of showing what i saw in Vancouver. i went with the two things that stuck in my head the most, one was the 24 daily newspaper box that i saw on kits beach in the middle of the Field near a huge weeping willow tree. shown below
what made me stop and look was the strong contrast of the Bright orange box with the lighter calmer and even cooler colours of the sky ocean and trees.my idea is to show how mans colours work with natures colours, but are much more bright.
the other image that i took was this one below of a basketball hoop. what i saw was the same bright contrasting orange on the backboard with pretty much the same colour pallet as the 24 box, meaning, the ocean sky and trees but this time the colour of the court is also a calmer cool blue.
